I don't have gloves for tomorrow and I'm slightly worried since I can't exactly get any (Prime Now doesn't have any I checked). The Wind Chill is freaking me out a bit. Guess the sweat handband covers are going to get double use.

It's an absolute mess getting out of the expo right now. Our bus didn't move for 20 minutes. 3 hours dedicated to the expo now and 2/3 of that has been getting there and back. My fast passes are not looking good right now.

Someone on Facebook talked to the course certifier, apparently we were supposed to go through the castle for the half. Apparently whoever draws the route map made an error.

Does anyone know if a half only runner can go to the expo to claim their medal today, but still defer to a future race? My wife ran her own personal half today, and would like to get photos with characters around the parks with the medal, but we don't really want the gift card

Yeah you get the medal regardless and then get to choose from any option.

Any full runners staying at AKL that need it, I have a box of large trash bags and a size large zip up throw away hoodie I'm happy to let you have! We didn't need them this morning and I'll be in the room all day. Just private message me.

Congratulations and awesome job to all the runners who still got out there and logged the miles today despite the cancellation. All the posts on social media of runners doing loops at the resorts and everyone supporting one another are truly inspiring and make my heart happy. In a world where terrible things happen everyday, such as the shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport yesterday, stories like this keep us hopeful and remind us that good things do still happen and good people still exist.

Today I'm not running and I'm not in Disney World, but I'm wearing my 2015 Wine and Dine shirt in support of the half runners. A cancelled race is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, and we understand there are more important things, but the disappointment is real and everyone has a right to feel it after the anticipation and preparation leading up to race day. I know it well myself after that race.

Good luck to everyone running the full marathon tomorrow! Stay warm and have fun!!!

I have no idea how Disney screwed up exiting the expo. Every row of the parking lot has cars lined up trying to get out. It was an issue at packet pickup and again for medal pickup.

I get it a lot of traffic but it did flow slowly to get in. Getting out, nothing is moving.

This may not be legit at all. Could be someone taking money and shipping nothing. It is not a part of a larger site selling other merchandise.

Should Have explained - The person organizing orders is in a runDisney Facebook group I am in. He does shirts for every race weekend so if he wasn't legit I think someone would have busted him by now. And no, I don't know how it's legal.

The PayPal link is not enabled, but this person seems to be trying to use a legit PCI company to handle CC info.

Question - I'm just curious on for those who switched from half to full how did that work? Looks like a brand new registration & you get a marathon bib at expo?

Awesome sitting at home & seeing so many photos/video of runners on social media out getting their miles in & people cheering. Hope the rain/storms end soon for you all for park touring or still getting the miles in.

My DD27 just switched to the full and they are making them keep the half bib and writing on it and issuing a wrist band. They also keep same corral placement.

On a sadder note, sitting on a bus trying to exit expo for35 minutes so far and we are just now onto the road fronting the parking lots. At least we are forced off our feet and resting but I have been "hydrating" and ummmmm....

Well that is her plan. I don't know about everyone else. I don't mind if people run half then stop to "earn" their half medal, which they did receive. They just don't get the free Full shirt.

We just arrived in the expo parking lot. Quick drive in, but the traffic out looks bad. They need a police officer at the traffic light overriding it
