Congratulations to all those who hit the starting line this morning! Whether you set a PR, took your time and met some characters (both Disney and fellow participants!), fought through injury or illness to reach the finish line, or even got swept before you finished - you had the courage to take the first step and that's awesome!

Finished! Not the fastest time for me as the muggy air got the better of me, but had a blast! Now on to Hollywood Studios. Awesome day.

Ouch!! So the good news is I finished and earned my Mickey, Goofy, and Dopey medals!!! But the humidity, or something really effected me. Missed my goal time. But have been working towards this since doing Goofy last year and I am very proud for accomplishing this!

To all the other runners finished or still out there, congratulations!!!!

Finished. I now know what running 27.6 miles feels like after hitting the wall immediately after crossing the starting line. Great support on the course; but I was drenched in sweat after about 50 feet and couldn't return the energy. Worst time of my 3 Dopey marathons, but I may be proudest of this one. 5:27 seemed like a pipe dream after mile 3.

Tried to locate diser's on the course but never saw anyone. I was unable to form rational thoughts for most of it though so that probably played a part.

Congrats to all the other finishers. Crossing that finish line today is truly a triumph for all who accomplish it.

All finished. Goal was a sub-7 hour Dopey and needed a 4:09 today. Finished in 3:55:35 for a final Dopey time of 6:45:33! Will post more details later, but glad it's over.

Great job everyone! I finished my first full today despite the hamstring limiting me to a max of 12 miles in training! Safe to say it's fixed after today!

When I got up I didn't think I could do it. On the start line I didn't think I could do it. At Mile 6 at the Magic Kingdom I didn't think I could do it. At Mile 12 getting to Animal Kingdom I knew I was going to do it. And I got stronger the closer I got to the finish. It was exhilarating!

I'm calling what I did the "Dummy Challenge"! I was only a 5k from completing a full Dopey Challenge (totally could have) and I completed the Goofy Challenge but didn't get the medal because I signed up for the individual races and not the challenge. All the effort, none of the extra bling!

That being said, if anyone runs across a 2016 Goofy Medal on eBay or somewhere, drop me a line. I'd love to pick one up since I certainly earned it. Surely one of the million Dopey runners will look to lighten their load eventually!

Dopey three-peat complete. Pleasantly surprised that I was able to walk the marathon in 5:56. Not exactly a world record, but I was expecting to be out there a lot longer.

Now, time for some serious beer drinking!

The first bus we saw was right at GF. Didn't see any others parked. Glad they let her through, though. There was another bus marked "parade bus" at the exit to get off of world drive to head to Epcot. We wonder if that was another sweeper bus with just a nice name.

I finished as many others have said the humidity was really bad and I started to struggle with back after the half way mark, lots of energy on the course kept me going and seeing my family at Boardwalk was the final boost I needed to reach the finish, more walk breaks than I would have liked but I finished and that's all that matters will post pics when i return home on Tuesday!
