Marathon Weekend 2009 Lodging ?

We just bought DVC membership. Anyone have any experience at SSR during Marathon Weekend? How was it?

We stayed there this year and had a great time. The bus stop was easy to get to for us and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus to come. We would probably stay there in the future.

We just left SSR from our marathon weekend (plus week after) stay. It was our first time staying on DVC points, and our first stay at SSR. We were highly impressed! The resort was beautiful, and strikingly QUIET. It was an easy walk to the bus stop in the morning too. (We stayed in the Paddock section.)

I was there for marathon weekend, too. Stayed in the Springs section. It was great! Both mornings I walked to the bus stop and waited no more than 5 minutes for the marathon bus.
SSR is my home resort and I really like the quiet feel to it and being close to DtD.

We were in the Congress Park section over marathon weekend, and loved it also. Again, 5 minute walk to the bus stop (10 minute walk back after the marathon because, well... ) Sunday morning, I was walking to the bus stop, and a bus, leaving the bus stop, stopped and picked me up. What service!
