Marathon Questions???

How much does it cost to register for the marathon? How much do you have to raise in order to participate in the marathon? Do you have to raise money for a limited amount of charities or can you choose your own? What happens if you fail to meet your goal of raising money for that charity? Are children required to raise a certain amount?

Thanks in advance. I'm thinking this might become a possibility for our family to do in 2008 or 2009.

You don't have to run for a charity in order to participate in the Half or Full Marathons at WDW (or DL for that matter).

If you are interested in running for a charity one of the others will hopefully pop up with that advice but if you wanted to run by paying for your own registeration go to Disney's Wide World of Sports and click HEADLINE events at least I think that is the button on your left. There you can pick WDW Marathon Weekend. They have the registration amounts listed under each race. The Half for open registration has reached capicity for 2007's race but the Full is still open and you probably could still sign up with one of the charities to do the Half.

When at work I just type into yahoo.... disney wide world of sports.
