Marathon question

My sister decided a little late she'd like to register for the half marathon and it is full. Do they ever open up more spots?

Good question! I'm planning on running the half in 2011 but would also be interested to see if more spots open for 2010

Not usually. They did open more Goofy spots this year, but the half closes pretty early. There are often spots available through some of the travel or charity groups. Check those out here:

I had the same problem in 2006 so I went to the page Mel included above and booked a room through Anthony Travel. That got me into the race without the fund raising requirements of the charity groups. I had a good experience with them and would recommend them to anyone needing a late race entry.

Dreams Unlimited is supposed to get a block of rooms and race entries but it is getting kind of late and they still have no contract.

They sometimes release a handful of spots a few weeks before the races. I think they may be spots that were allocated to travel agencies and charities that weren't used. If you def want to do it this year, your best bet is the site listed by a PP.
