So, I was able to get my personal day for the Monday after the marathon which means I get to go run and have my first solo trip :cool1:

It's going to be a crazy trip and sadly I will not be there in time for the Friday meet, but...

Do we have any other meets scheduled (I'm assuming there's at least one post race one)?

The 90 day window is almost upon us (my 90 + 10 actually started the same day I booked)...
So can anyone recommend a good pre-race and post-race ? I was thinking one of the buffets for an early dinner post race (Chef Mickey's maybe). Any good CS recommendations for pre or post race?

Thanks and look forward to meeting you all at last!

Good Afternoon wellesleyprincess!

No real suggestions for pre/post meals, I just go where I like. I'm still trying to get down all the pre/post good for me nutrition for pre/post meals LOL Oh I'll end up doing a pasta meal the nights before but haven't figured out yet where for Saturday possibly Riverside as they have that make your own. I have high hopes of catching the POP meet and grabbing something there early.

For me I've recently learned that I enjoy having my post-race celebration meal on Monday so I can enjoy it without risk of falling asleep (drat those early hours!)

BUT! I do believe we are still scheduled for a Monday Morning Coffee meet over at the Boardwalk unless the location has been switched. In the past the group has met there but I have only caught it once so I don't recall the time they meet up. But thanks for posting your question as it reminded me to put it on my schedule :wave2:

So far all of my WDW marathon trips have been solo, it's always fun. If you will have a car I would suggest going to Cafe d'Antonio's in Celebration. It is better Italian food than you will get in the parks and at a better price. If you are staying on site and don't have a car I would probably get some pasta at DTD. The restaurant in the Italy pavilion is pretty pricey and the food isn't great. I think I did Wolfgang puck express the last time I was down there because they had pasta.

The post race meal for me is always Boma. Both years I did the race some friends came over from Tampa and we all went there together. I would still go by myself though, but I'm not too shy to do anything solo. Some people are.
