Mara at AKL: Food Court or Restaurant?

We've only stayed at All Star Movies, so my frame of reference is their food court. How does Mara compare? Is it similar to AS Food Court, or is it more like a restaurant with tipping expected? Thanks, Disney Experts!!

The Mara is a foodcourt. I've never stayed at the All Stars so I can't compare the two. I didn't like the breakfast offerings at The Mara, but the standard food court fare was fine.

It's a food court but they will bring your food out to you if they don't have something prepared right away. This is a link to their lunch/dinner menu...

food court with high quality food prepared very professionally and quickly. Not as many choices as an All-Star but the quality is higher. Enjoy!!!!!!!
