I got some questions that I find unique from the regular and some are just the usual questions.

What is the PhotoPass job like?

What is the Merchandise job like?

What is the Character Attendant job like?

What is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Hostess job like?

What are the Classes like?

How much does the books cost?

What are all the costs?

Thanks for the answers :goodvibes

I'll take a stab at the Merchandise question. You can be placed in any of the theme parks or resorts, in any of the indoor gift shops or outdoor carts. This also includes the shops in Pleasure Island/Downtown Disney. If you're in an indoor shop, you'll definitely be working at a cash register ringing people out. You may also work as a Stocker, bringing out the merch from the stock rooms and placing it on the shelves. At some of the larger gift shops (like the Emporium or World of Disney) you may also be a Runner, which entails getting specific items (like boxes of snow globes) from the back room or preparing the Resort Deliveries.

I worked in the Emporium at Magic Kingdown in Merchandise, and I absolutely LOVED it. Occasionally I was deployed to other areas such as Adventureland Merchandise and MK Strollers, which was very exciting. The good thing about Merchandise is you only need to be register trained, so you can pick up shifts just about anywhere like the photo shop at Tower of Terror. There are ALWAYS extra hours in merch if you're looking for more hours. Just expect to work some late shifts. Most of the time I would go into work around 3 or 4pm, and an early night would end at 11pm. There's a lot of guest contact (celebs included) and it is a really awesome role! Good luck!

Wow, thanks so much for the info. Its been very helpful :D

One more question to this one. What if you've never worked a register?

Thanks :goodvibes

I think they ask you during your interview what sort of job-related experience you have, but that doesn't really make a difference. During the first couple of days you work alongside a trainer and they teach you everything you need to know. The registers are REALLY simple to work and they're the same everywhere you go. Hope this helps!

I don't know much about Photopass. But they are photographers in the 4 parks. They take pictures of the park icons (the castle, the Hat, the tree, ect), the characters, special add-in pictures, and so on.

I have done character attendant (and am currently seasonal). It is so much fun! Character attendants assist the character(s), keep the queue line in control, answer questions for guests, help with taking pictures, and so on.

For BBB- I don't know too much. But the hostesses work at either DTD or in the castle. They style hair, do makeup, and stuff like that.

For costs- there is the housing fee that is paid when you accept your offer. There is the cost of books if you take any classes. And if you do certain housing events, there is a cost (usually if it's a trip where you travel, like the beach trips).

Man now I can't make up my mind :rotfl:
I think I'm not going to lean towards BBB, but the others are amazing. I just can't decide lol:cutie:
