Many times to WDW but never stayed at the Fort! Help needed! : )

No more petting zoo, but you can see some horses and maybe some ponies. Disney carts are higher than $55, maybe $65, but can be had off site for less. Electric plug- in's for carts is limited at the parking areas.

You can definately take pony rides as of last January...the carts are $59 plus tax, and I never had ANY problem ever finding a spot to plug in my cart. Having the cart added to the pleasure and experience of our stay.

Might depend on when you're there - time of year and time of day. We go during a relatively slow time (Nov/Dec) and we've frequently had a hard time finding a place to plug in down by the marina. BUT, we also rarely leave the Fort early in the a.m., so by the time we do get there the place is chuck full with carts.

We always make sure we plug in at our site each night so we don't have to worry about it (there are places to plug in at the cabins too).

We were the same way. We never made it to the parks before noon. It's not that we were sleeping in, we just like to take things slow in the morning...

We just plugged it in at night too. There was always plenty of juice for the whole day.
