Heading to Orlando tomorrow (Oct. 30th) for a week - 2 adults, no children. Will be going to SeaWorld. Bought annual passes today on-line - printed out the e-vouchers. Annual passes are combination SeaWorld/Busch Gardens.

1. Will the e-vouchers for the annual passes get us free parking the first day we go, or won't the complimentary parking go into effect until we obtain the actual annual pass by printing out at one of the kiosks?

2. Any opinion on how crowded it will be Sat., Oct. 31st?

3. What are your recommendations for restaurants at SeaWorld? Have been researching the dining plan and not sure it would work for us as we don't eat that much.

4. Can we take bottles of water/snacks into SeaWorld?

Thanks for any and all input!

You have to pay the first time parking. This rubs me the wrong way, but that's how it is.

I would take in one of the better restaurant experiences if you don't want the DP like the Shamu dine or Sharkwater Grill.

I think you will have the least crowds in SW on Halloween compared to the rest of them.

I'm not sure about the snacks and water. I would think it would be easier to get snacks in.

2. Any opinion on how crowded it will be Sat., Oct. 31st? Very. It is the last day of the Spooktacular and a Saturday.

Thank you for the replies! What a bummer having to pay for parking the first time you go in! We may take a shuttle from our resort then just to avoid that - yeah, I admit it, I'm cheap! But that was one of the reasons we opted for the annual passes, because of the complimentary parking. You'd think with the e-vouchers in hand, you'd be allowed to park free the first time also. Ok, enough of my ranting - I KNOW we'll have a great time!!

Not sure if it changed or if I was just fortunate - when I was there this past June, I showed the parking gate attendant my e-voucher for the Passport and did not have to pay for parking.

I didn't have to pay the first time either.

You do NOT have to pay if you just show your evoucher. It will be fine.

They have Spooktacular goin on so yeah, it's probably gonna be a little busy but it's quite a bit of fun. The other parks will be more crowded than SW. It would be a good time to take advantage of the coasters I would imagine.

Mango Joe's is the best for the buck...Sharks is good but pricey. We haven't tried the pizza restaurant yet but that shouldn't be much either. I will attach menus at the end of this thread.

SW is actually really good about allowing you to take in waters/juice boxes/snacks. Just can't take straws in, have to use the paper ones there. They also have a reusable cup that season pass holders can fill for like a dollar...worth it.

1. Yep, no problem - showed the e-voucher and parking was free.

2. Not crowded at all in my opinion - we had a nice time, though weather was hot. Didn't stay all day, as we knew we would be going back on Monday.
Could not believe the # of parents who dressed their small children up in long sleeve/long pant costumes (I'm talking heavy velour full body outfits, including hoods). What were they thinking - it was in the 80's outside for goodness sakes. Those little tykes had to be sweltering in those costumes!

3. Ate at Terrace Cafe for lunch - hubby & I split the club sandwich w/potato salad, and then had their carrot cake - YUMMY!

4. And yes, we took bottled water into the park w/o any issues.

Looking forward to going back on Monday.

I LOVE the roast beef sandwiches there and the potato salad is killer! :thumbsup2

We are going to Sea World for the first time this Dec. Can anyone tell me if you can exit and re-enter the park on the same day??

you can, your parking ticket allows you to re-enter on the same day for free. but the park tickets are different, we always get the flexiticket and then we can just go in and out as much as we like for 2 weeks and they dont take a day off you like they would at wdw if you know what I mean?
