Many Pictures missing..

Just checking in to see if there is a quick fix. Everything I post in the line of pictures, is visible. However, I am seeing more then a small number of things that others post, pictures, avatar's, etc. that just come up blank. Is there something that is missing on my computer that isn't allowing them to come through?

PS. I recently had to do some clean up work on my computer for a problem that my Security program was causing. Something might have gotten deleted by accident, I just don't know what it would be. Any suggestions?

There's currently some sort of issue on DISboards causing problems with images/avatars. Here's a whole thread about it:

Emoticons aren't displaying either.... Navigating directly to one of the missing images results in a big o' 404:

There's something going on with the boards, and the administrators who manage these boards know about them. I understand that they are working the issues, but we do not have a timeline when they'll be fixed.
