To those of you who have used DCL transportation to JFK on a weekday. How long did it take to get to the airport.? I've cruised out NYC twice and have flown home from EWR on a Thursday and Monday. It was less than 30 minutes. Traffic was all coming into the city. I would like to know what to expect going to JFK. Thanks.

I don't know about the DCL bus, but the taxi estimator says one hour from pier to JFK vs. 30 minutes from pier to EWR.

It all depends on time of day. I would say at least 90 minutes

Thanks all. I have some co-workers from NYC and they kind of said the same thing about the traffic. There's limited flights on AA out of Newark on Wednesdays. It's either 930am or 5pm. I'm trying to fly on AA points and the JFK flights in the afternoon are more points then I want to use. I think I'm going to use my Hyatt points for a night at the Park Hyatt and we'll fly out of EWR the next day. There's a 1pm flight.

Doing the same thing after WBTA this September. At 30,000 points, Park Hyatt is a fantastic redemption! I usually just use UberXL to get to Manhattan airports (almost always a black Suburban so plenty of room for luggage).

We're on the WBTA. I guess will see you at the Park Hyatt. It is a great redemption. I wish I had enough points for the Hyatt Churchill before the cruise, but I just burned through a bunch of points at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. I highly recommend that resort at 12k points per night. In the past we've used Uber or Lyft in Nyc... whatever I get the best rate on.
