1/2 cup mango -- peeled and diced
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
crushed ice
Brown sugar
Optional : sprig of fresh mint to garnish

Place mango, yogurt and ice in a blender or food processor and whirl away. taste a spoonful to see if it is sweet enough for you. If not you can add brown sugar and mix again. Pour into glass and garnish with a mint sprig if desired.

Oh, Beth! This sounds delicious especially since I have mangoes & vanilla yogurt in the refrigerator. Breakfast tomorrow .... :)

Thanks so much for the recipie Beth. The mango tree in the back yard is full of fruit so we tried it this morning and they tasted awesome!!

A mango tree in your yard? I am so envious of you. I love fresh mango, but mine comes from the supermarket.

Mexico is really hot this days, this receipe is going to be great for us.Thanks!!

The Indian restaurants here in town serve these and they are so refreshing after a spicy Indian meal. DH loves these. BIL used to work there and they also used canned mango when they could not get fresh.

Thanks for sharing,
Candi
