Wednesday 9th August ~ Day 7

We had brekkie in the room this morning, while we decided where we were going to go today. It was a thumbs up for Islands of Adventure, so we jumped in the car and arrived there for 8.30am. We parked in the ‘Preferred Parking’, which cost $5 ~ due to the Annual Pass.

We arrived at IOA at 8.45am and it was already open. The park was really quiet, so we rode The Hulk 3 times, Spiderman, Duelling Dragons 4 times (twice each side ~ and IMO Fire is the best). We also rode Jurassic Park twice, where we got soaked and we left the park around mid-day.

We went back to the Pop and had lunch in the foodcourt, then Paul & I went for a swim and sunbathe for an hour. Around 3.30pm we took the bus to Epcot. We had a cake in The Land, rode Imagination and sent some email piccies to friends. We then popped in to the Character Connexion and had photos taken with Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Goofy and Chip & Dale.

We took a walk around World Showcase and the girls had tea in China, but Paul & I decided to have something that we’d never had before, so we went to the Tangierine Café in Morocco. We had a lovely meal of a Chicken and Lamb platter and Chicken Wrap, which were delicious and we agreed to eat there again.

We wandered over to the UK Pavillion and bought some choccie and a Bacardi & Coke and on the way out Paul saw this Pirates watch that you could get for $10 if you spent $70, so being the kind, wonderful and overall good egg wife that I am (LOL) I bought some presents for my mum and friends so that he could have the watch.

We got back to the Pop around 9ish, and I wrote all my postcards, and they were all in the postbox in the lobby 30 minutes later, and a few minutes later we were all fast asleep.

I have not done any park but WDWs...We just dont have any extra time to do other parks Besides after driving 17 hrs. to get there ..I like to stay out of the car as much as possable
