Tuesday 17th July

We were supposed to go to Islands of Adventure today, but when we woke up, Paul wasn’t feeling at all well. So I got the girls up and we quickly got ready and got the bus to the Magic Kingdom for EMH’s.

We had breakfast first in the Main Street USA bakery of apple turnover (mmmm), muffin, cookie and orange juice.

We rode Buzz Lightyear, went to see the Laugh Floor Comedy Club, which was very funny as they would put a camera on people in the audience and tell jokes, though the girls weren’t impressed as they were worried that they’d get picked on.

We then went to see Mickey’s Philharmagic, rode It’s a Small World (aarrgghh !!), met some characters in Toon Town Fair, rode the train and I had another Pineapple Float in Adventureland, while Becky had an ice-cream.

Paul rang to say that he was feeling much better, so we got the bus back to the Pop and we had an hour by the pool.

In the afternoon we went back to the Mall at Millenia where the girls bought yet more stuff from Hollister.

In the evening the girls wanted to go off by themselves (cheers girls – huh !!), so they caught the bus to MGM Studios. So Paul and I took off to Epcot on the bus. We have always wanted to try Restaurant Marrakesh at Morocco, and as it was only 5ish we were able to get a table straight away.

We had the Combination Appetizer for Two (Beef Brewat Rolls, Chicken Bastilla, and Jasmina Salad) followed by Chicken Kebabs and Shish Kebabs. The food was lovely and we had a couple of Marrakesh Express cocktails, which were like very strong Bahama Mamas (Mmmm).

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we look forward to going there on our next trip.

We had a quick drink in the Rose & Crown and then left for the Pop.

The girls were back and they’d had a great time, but unfortunately it now looked like Becky was coming down with a bad cold
