Me (Mandy) - 43 - Searching for some Bahama Mamas
DH (Paul) - 42 - Searching for some peace and quiet
DD1 (Kerry 16) & DD2 (Becky 14) - Searching for Hollister Stores
Saturday 14th July
I was up at 6.30am and then everyone else was up by 7am as we were off to Animal Kingdom for EMH.
It was quite busy when we got there. We were let into the Park and held back near the Tree of Life where there was an opening ceremony. Id never seen this before and it was quite cute. Once that was over we marched off to Expedition Everest. Unfortunately EE was down and so were the Fastpasses, but as we were here mainly for EE, I stood in line for the ride and Paul stood in line for the FPs. After about ½ hour, the ride started testing, and Paul joined us with the FPs and then we were all allowed on the ride. It was as brilliant as ever and after riding it we went off for breakfast at Tusker House.
It was really hot, and we were already flagging, so after some photos with Lilo & Stitch and riding EE again, we made a quick exit. We went back to the Pop Century and we had a lie by the pool for an hour. It was really hot and I had to get in the pool every 15 minutes to cool down.
Later in the afternoon we took off for the Mall at Millenia. The girls love this shopping mall, and they had a good spending spree in Hollister. We had a Chinese meal in the food court and then we went to Target.
We went back to the Pop to drop the car (and the shopping) off and we caught the bus to Epcot. We had a cake and Smirnoff Ice (sprite and diet coke for the girls) in The Land, then we rode Journey Into Imagination and sent some e-card messages. Paul and I went for a wander around World Showcase, where I bought myself a new pink cowboy hat, (remember I left my last one on the plane in January) we had a couple of wines in Germany and a drink in the Rose & Crown
and the girls went off to explore.
We caught the bus back to the Pop, and we were in bed by 9.30pm (Woohoo !! Party animals
)
