Tuesday 15th June ~ High - Mid 90's

It was morning EMH's at the Magic Kingdom today, and we arrived around 8.30am.

We wandered up Main Street USA taking some photos and stopping outside the castle for some Photopass pics

Our first ride of the day was Buzz Lightyear where I got the maximum score within moments, and much to Paul's annoyance

When Frontierland opened at 9am, we headed over to get FP's for Big Thunder Mountain. Paul went off to get the FP's and I joined the huge line for Splash Mountain (as you can probably guess, it was a boiling hot morning, and Splash Mountain was very popular)

We enjoyed getting soaked on Splash Mountain, then we went to ride Pirates of the Caribbean while we waited for our BTMR FP time to come round

We stopped off for some fruit bowls and orange juice in Liberty Square, then I called into the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe where I bought a cute Toy Story Alien decoration

Next we escaped the sun and cooled down while watching Mickey's PhilharMagic, and then we had a ride on the TTC

Finally we enjoyed a Pineapple Float in Adventureland before exiting the park via the shops

We caught the bus back to the Pop and headed for a cool off by the pool. It had become increasingly cloudy this afternoon, and within 1/2 an hour it began to to rain. When it got heavier, we decided to get changed and go shopping

We were after a PS2 game for Becky and some more clothes for the girls, so we went to Festival Bay and had a look around Ron Jon's, Pac Sun and Hot Topic, but we didn't find anything there. We tried Target for the game, but it wasn't there either, so sadly we had a wasted shopping afternoon, though at least we found something to do while there was a downpour

Once back at the Pop, we got changed and caught the bus to Animal Kingdom. We had a few photopass photos taken and then we enjoyed a couple of cocktails at the Dawa Bar. Tonight we had an ADR at Tusker House for 6.50pm, so after grabbing our cocktails we checked in and were seated around 6.30pm

Once again we really enjoyed the buffet. I had some soup to start, then I made two trips to the buffet for samosas, chicken curry and rice, and to finish off I had apple & cherry crumble with vanilla sauce which was absolutely delish

When we had finished, the park had closed, so we caught the bus to the Contemporary Resort for a drinky and then the Monorail over to the Poly for another one

We then headed back to the Pop via the Monorail and bus and went to bed happily stuffed and a little merry too

Wow ! How did you get the maximum score on Buzz?
I always do so badly on it - just can't seem to aim my gun properly (unlike TSM where you know if you've hit a target!)

That ride pic from Splash Mountain is funny - it looks as though Paul has forgotten where the camera is

We have been to Tusker House a couple of times now, but always for lunch. We have loved it both times so maybe we need to try it for dinner next time
