Monday 14th June ~ High - 97F
We didn't rush to a park for morning EMH's today, so we decided to get to Epcot for 9am opening
Once the rope dropped, we walked over to Test Track. Paul grabbed a couple of Fastpasses and then we carried on in the standby line. We didn't have to watch the pre-show video, and walked straight through to the ride
After Test Track, we then rode Mission:Space on the more intense side (which I'm not over keen on)
Next stop was The Land, where we picked up some FP's for Soarin' and then we stopped off for some breakfast (2 breakfast platters and our first taste of french toast which was far too sickly sweet for us)
After brekkie we rode Journey Into Imagination and then wandered over to World Showcase
Our first stop was the Rose & Crown where we sat outside enjoying a refreshing drinky
We carried on wandering around World Showcase and along the way we popped into the shops, met characters and had a drinky in Italy too
We also stoppped in Norway as I wanted to try the famous School bread (which was delish) and a beef sandwich
The Computer Pool was calling us, so we headed towards the exit calling into MouseGear for a little shopping and the Living with the Seas shop where I bought a Nemo, Dory and Squirt christmas decorations
Once back at the Pop, we spent a good hour or two by the pool and once showered, we had a quick chat to the girls before getting the bus back to Epcot
We had a quick drinky in The Land, and another one in the Rose & Crown. We then ran into Pooh & Tigger for a quick photo before heading to Morocco for our reservation at Restaurant Marrakesh
We had a lovely meal, we started with a cocktail and then we ordered the Marrakesh Royal Feast to share (Harira soup, Beef Brewat Rolls, Lemon Chicken, Roasted Lamb Meshoui, Couscous with Seven Vegetables, and Assorted Moroccan pastries). We really enjoyed this meal, and we finished off with one final cocktail
We popped back to France so I could try a cocktail, as I needed more photos for my August Quiz (the things I need to do in the name of research
)
We left the park as IllumiNations began. We got the bus back to the Pop and we popped to Petal's Pool Bar for a nightcap, only to find that it was closed due to inclement weather (blooming lightning had been going off for a while, but no rain or thunder), so we went to the food court and bought a bottle of Asti and enjoyed that before heading to bed
