Monday 1st January 07
Woohoo !! we had a lie in today, so I got up just before 7am and had a quick shower and then I got the rest of the clan up. Paul & I went to get breakfast at the food court and we brought it back to the room, where the girls proceeded to inform me of my shenanigans of the previous night. I was absolutely gob-smacked, as I dont mind getting silly in front of the girls, but I felt as though I had crossed the mark. Anyway it gave the girls a good laugh for the rest of the day, and I was surprised at how well I felt, especially as today we were going to Islands of Adventure, which of course means loads of goes on The Hulk and Duelling Dragons.
We left the Pop around 8.10am and parked in the Preferred Parking at Universal (which is only $5 with our Annual Pass). The gates opened at 8.45am and we went straight on The Hulk. We rode this 3 times with the girls, then Paul & I went off to ride SpiderMan while the girls went back on The Hulk and rode the waltzer type ride next to it.
Next we walked through Seuss Landing towards Duelling Dragons, we rode it 4 times (twice each side) which was brilliant, though I started to get a really bad headache after the 3rd time ~ I think the previous night was finally catching up with me.
Anyway, we had a couple of hours at IOA and then we left for the Super Target near the Mall at Millenia, and then we had lunch at McDonalds. I wasnt that bothered about going to the Mall at Millenia, but everyone else wanted to, so after an hour in there, the girls left with yet more T-Shirts from Hollister.
We went back to the Pop to drop the shopping off, and after a quick change we caught the bus over to the Magic Kingdom. We went on the Buzz Lightyear ride (where I won), then we watched the High School Musical Pep Rally, which the girls loved and said that we must tape tomorrow when we return in the morning. We had tea of chicken dinners in Cosmic Rays (one of my fave meals in WDW) and then we went to see Mickeys PhilharMagic. When we came out it was raining, so we wandered around the shops and then we got the bus back to the Pop.
The girls settled down for the evening in the room checking out all the stuff theyd bought, so Paul & I popped to the Premium Outlets to buy a watch hed seen earlier in the holiday.
I think we were all in bed and asleep around 10pm
