I was wondering does the mandatory lifeboat drill from 4-4:30 interfere with the sail way party at 4:30.
I haven't taken a Disney Cruise, but on a cruise we took the life boat drill didn't start on time and didn't finish on time.

Thanks

They really don't start the sailaway until more towards 5, and will bump it back if the drill runs late.

Keep in mind the crew participates in the drill as much as we do. "All ship services will be suspended during the drill".

So, no worries, you won't miss anything.

I seem to remember the drill at around 3:30?!?!? hmmmmm

The drill is always at 4:00 pm. :) They close off ship services at 3:30 so that people will get to their rooms to get ready for the drill.

The drill is almost always over by 4:15 and at 4:30 or so the music starts playing for the sailaway party. As Mark says, the main part of the party takes place around 4:45 and later as they get ready to sail at 5:00. The party is usually overy by about 5:30 to give early dining folks time to get ready for dinner. :)

ahhhhhhh........That's why they call you webmastermichelle!!!hehehehee

regardless of cruise line, if the "mandatory" drill is taking place, and everyone on the ship is required to attend the mandatory drill, exactly how do you suppose it would interfere with an activity?
