ManCrunch.com - Rejected Superbowl Ad

Sun Life stadium... why the heck do they feel the need to change the name of Joe Robbie so many flippin times??

Sorry... I grew up in Miami and didn't even like it when it was called Pro Player.

As for the commercial... looks really stupid. I don't think that's worth 3 million. It's just cheezy and corny and well not really thought out.

I agree, the commercial is pretty weak, but then again, some of the commercials played during the Superbowl...yeah, it makes this look like some high quality production.

if it was superbowl worthy... then i'm all for the whole discrimation thing.

I hate it when people/companies throw that out there when in reality it has nothing to do with it.

Who knows, maybe they'll do something better and get one of the last few spots.

I don't know ... I thought it was cheesy but kinda cute. I think that Mancrunch is probably getting more publicity by having their ad banned than if they ran it at the end of a boring Super Bowl game. In the meantime I bet we'll be treated by plenty of good old fashioned GoDaddy and beer commercial T&A :rolleyes1.

If it was a great (or even a good) ad, I would agree.
However, the ad rubs me the wrong way. I know a lot of ads
try to be stupid and funny. To spend Millions
of dollars to have your ad aired, I would think they
could come up with something much better.

Airing a gay dating service commercial during the Super Bowl,
not too sure... I'm still thinking about that one.

I heard the funniest thing on the radio....

It was on the rock station too... "so cbs decided to air the anti-abortion ad, but they've turned down a gay dating service site from mancrunch.com. You would think that they would be allis, since gays don't have abortions."

(it happened like an hour ago, so I can't remember the exact wording, but it was to that extent.)

:rotfl2: I love 101.1

I agree, the ad was just dumb. If there is gonna be an ad for a gay dating service, I'd like it to be more classy than that and not just making us look like horny animals. That's exactly what the opposition wants.
If it was an E-harmony type of site featuring LGBT, that would be different and then I'd be upset about the ad not being aired. As it stands, I back CBS in the decision.

Funny.. extremely lame, and not even orginal. Mad TV did a sketch that was a lot better but basically the same thing. I suspect it was an attempt (successful) to get free publicity from everyone talking about it, then actually expecting it to get aired during the game.
