Manchester Airport Hotels

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a nice airport hotel at Manchester for the night before? Usually we stay at the Hilton but its gone up in price over the years, thought it maybe time to look for somewhere else. Wed like one that has a bus to the airport and a decent breakfast to fill up on for the flight! As its out Honeymoon we are no fussed on price. Obviously nothing oober expensive - just somewhere nice

When I was looking people said about the Radisson for its location however I kept reading about poor standard of rooms that need rehab.

The Bewleys get good reviews but I found the price similar to the Hilton so stuck with the Hilton as we love the breakfast

We stayed at the bewleys in January. We got a really good price on holiday extras and went through quidco. Including parking for 15 nightsI think we paid about £76 then had 11% back.

The restaurant was very nice we only had dinner though saved breakfast for Frankie and bennys.

Hi. It will not be the cheapest but I highly recommend the Radisson hotel at Manchester airport. It is a five minute walk from the lobby to terminal 2. Under a covered glass walkway with moving conveyor belt. The convenience is second to none. They do stay and park deals so you leave your car in their car park and they take it to an off site place. When you get back they bring it to the hotel car park for you so as soon as you are back in terminal 2 you are 5 minutes away from your car.

There are differently themed rooms. All well kept but do show someone different sleeps in them every night to a degree. They are large rooms.

There is a pool, sauna, steam room and gym at the hotel that you can use. Spa treatments are available for an additional cost.

Breakfast can be bought as part of your package. It is not cheap but is a decent quality buffet.

The restaurant serves good food. Also expensive.

Ask for a room with a runway view.

We always stay here. To me it is the start of the holiday. Our service has always been excellent. My daughter left her stuffed rabbit there one year and when we arrived back it was at the front desk waiting for us

We have booked a family room (so two rooms) again for this year with 18 days parking in August and this was £239. Worth every penny to me.

Another vote for the Radisson - don't pay for their breakfast tho, check in then get breakfast in the airport.

i guess it depends on dates and your budget, whenever we've flown the Radisson plus parking has been at least £50 more than the Crown Plaza - we've now stayed there 3 times - highly recommend it.

just to add, we got a bed and breakfast, free movie channels, bottle of wine and 14 days parking for £90 at Easter ... seemed like a decent deal!

I have just now book the Raddison Blu (no parking needed) and for Executive room plus breakfast buffet for £89 which I'm happy with as the same with Hilton was showing as £81 and Raddison has the pool which we will definitely use and can just walk over to the terminal instead of craming into the mini buses!

Is it only a certain type of room that faces the runway? We've booked for next month but only a standard room I think.

I've just got a reply and they said they have requested a runway view room for us. Also said we have booked a business class room which I didn't realise! Thought it was only standard!
