Ok - feel like a complete newbie!

I have ended up booking flights from MAN for next Easter as it was £500pp cheaper than LGW and DH wasn't relenting on the PE part!

So can anyone recommend a nice hotel (usually stay at the Hilton or Sofitel at LGW) and parking - do not want to be dealing with buses so meet and greet recommendations please :goodvibes

Doing this had made me realise how comfortable I have got with LGW-MCO and feel completly out of my comfirt zone with doing something different! :scared1:

Thanks :goodvibes

We do meteor meet and greet. There is a 25% off code from time to time - I usually book when I see that.

Hotels - we usually go on the day. Have booked the premier inn for October for the first time.

Can't comment on meet and greet but would sugget the Radisson as this is the only hotel attached to the terminals. We always get a package that includes parking as well so it is not a hassle. Just walk back upto the hotel when you get back and collect your car.

We too have stayed at the Radisson and it is an easy walk to T2 to get the VA flight :)

That is the only one we stay at if we fly from MAN. Also, check out the business class room rate. If you are going for a B&B rate we have always found the difference in upgrade nominal and DD likes the airport runway view :thumbsup2

We found it cheaper in the past to book the radisson and book meet and greet raking separate. We just used the Manchester airport terminal 2 meet and greet parking (or sometimes called valet parking) and it was fab. It is located next to the entrance to terminal 2 you could not get any closer. We paid less than £50 for 15 days with holiday extras.

The only thing I would say about the radisson is the rooms need updating, but the location cant be beaten!

The Hilton is great. I stayed there three weeks ago and I was shocked by how quiet it was. The rooms are really nice and the food is great. Shuttles to the airport run every 20 mins.

The radisson is closer, as it's in the airport at the end of the travelling escalator thingies. So I guess it's down to personal choice, but I'd rather take the Hilton :)

Oh and the Hilton also do a good stay and park deal, they park your car for you in the long stay car park :thumbsup2

Iv stayed at a few hotels at MAN and Radisson for me is the most convenient. Like other PPs have said, it's actually attached to the airport and a short walk to terminal 2, also just return to the hotel when landing to collect your car. Very quick and very easy!

I also really like Bewleys too, clean modern rooms with v comfy beds. You can also leave your car with them and they will take you to the airport in a little mini bus which is only a couple of minutes away and then collect you when you land. If you don't want this kind of thing, you could book room only and either do meet and greet at the airport or actually park in the terminal 2 multistorey which is what we are doing this time. No ringing people when we land. Park and walk straight to departures, land and walk a couple of minutes back to the car! :thumbsup2

We usually book through a website called holiday extras. May be cheaper places though I'm not too sure :)
