manatees?

My mom heard from someone she works with that there is a state park in or really near Orlando where you can go see Manatees during certain months of the year. Of course he couldn't remember which state park. Anyone know?

I think this will be the Blue Spring state park. We have been twice in December 2010 and2012. The first year we saw lots of manatees in the spring, in 2012 it was too warm at the beginning of December and they were still in the river. we also took the boat cruise and really enjoyed that - St Johns river cruise.

Yes, Blue Springs, very cool! We have not been since 2007, but loved it then!

Our family visited Blue Springs State Park in April 2012 what an amazing day, well worth the visit....a state park in our opinion is a must do
