Thanks for posting! so cool. we saw one years ago on a boat tour but never one by the resort...have to keep an eye open!

Any jelly fish at the beach? that is the only thing that could ruin beach days at HHI

The beach has a lot of seaweed and reeds washed up to the high tide line (from Beryl and Debby storms) but evidence of jellyfish is noticeably absent right now. The surf temperature is about 83 right now, but I have not heard any reports of jellyfish stings recently. We enjoyed an ocean swim early yesterday and had no problems at all.

The beach is in good shape except for the reeds and has not taken too bad a beating from the recent storms.

We just got back at the beginning of the week and also had a no jelly fish ocean! Saw no one visiting the life guards because of stings.
