I have unexpectantly found myself alone in DLP with 2 small children. We are here a couple more days. One of the children is disabled. Can anyone give me advice regarding how to make my last couple of days as magic as possible for the kids regarding rides, eating out. I know they will miss out on most rides but maybe you experts can give me advise? I have the easy access pass

Sorry to hear about your unexpected situation.

If I were in your position, I think I would not worry about the rides too much, which maybe stressful for you to manage (maybe Small world would be ok??) and focus on meeting the characters, and doing the wonderful shows in the Studios park, like Playhouse disney, Stitich and Animagique?

Argh, too bad you weren't a few days later or I a few earlier. I'm in a similar situation. Neither of my kids are disabled, but they are at different ages and want to ride different rides. We could have buddied up. As I said in my post, I'm really surprised by how unaccommodating DLP is for single parents. They really offer no solutions whatsoever.
Since both of your kids are small, I'd say go ahead and enjoy as much as you can. Like the previous poster said, meet and greets and shows are easy even with a disabled child. I would also do all the rides in Fantasyland. I think you'll be able to manage. I'm sure someone will help you get your disabled child in and out of rides. The big boat ride is manageable. And you can do some stuff most people don't slow down enough to do. Explore the grounds more, take a guided tour, take one of those old cars for a ride. Book character meals too!
I hope you have a great time and manage to do as much as possible. I feel for you!

How about doing all the shows? There's Animagique, Cinemagique, Moteurs Action!, Stitch Live and Playhouse Disney Live in Disney Studios - all are fantastic and all accommodate disabled guests well.

Rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and It's A Small World are set up very well to deal with disabled guests.

I hope you can enjoy the rest of your holiday

Sorry you've ended up on your own. Sending hugs your way :grouphug:

I agree with previous posters- try the shows. Also, you could try Cafe Mickey for some fab character interaction.

I wish I could be there to help you out. I know how difficult life can be with a disabled little person.

Sending you good vibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Sorry you've ended up on your own. I hope you can enjoy the rest of the time.

Many of the rides can be stopped to help you, like Peter Pan and Buzz Lightyear. Our asd son loves the pirate beach play area and Woodys Corral.

Sorry you've ended up on your own but hope you still have an enjoyable holiday.

JUst wondering how you got on in the end Can'twait.
