Management Charges

I am seriously considering buying into DVC. Is there an annual management charge payable?

There are maintenance dues that are paid yearly. They average about $4.00 per point. Be sure to check out the DVC FAQ's link at the top of the page. It will give you a lot of information about DVC.

It depends on which resort you own at. I can't find the 2004 list, but 2003 was:
OKW $3.49
BWV $4.11
BCV $3.97
VWL $4.05
VB $4.37
HH $3.69
SSR was listed in the 2004 list that I can't find, but I think it was around $4 too.

SSR - $3.80
OKW- $3.68
HH - $3.86
BCV -$4.17
VWL- $4.25
BWV- $4.25
VB - $4.67 ($3.67 pre-1996 purchase)

(Can someone double-check BWV and VWL? Are they the same?)

The annual dues are comprised of Maintenance Fees, Capital Reserves and Property Tax. You may find that the Property Tax portion is deductible on your income tax.
