We saw this movie last night. It started out really good, but then it got SSSLLLOOOOWWW up until the last 10 minutes.

I have really mixed feelings about this movie..I went from thinking "this is the best movie I have seen in a long time" to thinking "I wish this would be over"....I think it has a good story, but it could have had a better second half...

I am not sure what to tell you about then ending....I left me feeling like I wished it ended better, but it ended true to the story..if that makes sense.

Nah, I read a few more online reviews and went to see Connie and Carla instead (now that was a hoot!). I'll wait and get a few more Dis-opinions before I spend the time on Man on Fire. I can deal with the violence if I know it has a decent ending. Otherwise I'll be fuming!

Sounds like matchstick men that movie was good and a good story to it but oh so painfuly slow.

We just saw it

Warning! VERY GORY!!!

You could literally hear the people cringing in the audience! I did ok, but it was very violent. Having said that, we really liked it. I'm afraid I'll give too much away

It was funny because I had a totally different opinion than one of the other posters above....I thought the first 30-40 min were slow and then it picked up pace quite a bit.

The movie was very intense and very good. The ending was a slight tearjerker,

(you know, the lump in your throat the size of Texas LOL)

This is the second movie I've seen with Dakota Fanning and that girl in one hell of an actress for being so young. Go see it!! But for the weak stomachs out there, make sure you LOOK AWAY!!

DH and I saw it last night and we liked it too. I really love Denzel and that Dakota Fanning is amazing. So cute and just such a great little actress.

It kept my attention all along and was violent but not overly graphic, IMO. I don't like the slooowmotion detailed violent beheading kinda stuff but this was okay. Interesting tactics he used. Yep.

I would give it a 7.5.
