Mama Melrose's Ristorante ?

We were thinking of trying this restaurant this time. Is it good or anything better at HS?

Choices are SLIM at the Studios. Our favorites are in this order:

1) Mama Melrose (we've always had good food and excellent service)
2) 50's Prime Time (fun...we haven't gone since the kids stopped traveling with us)
3) Sci Fi (haven't done in eight years and are planning on going back this year as it has been getting some really good reviews)

We didn't care for the Brown Derby at all when we went six years ago and have never gone back...don't find it worth two credits per person on the dining plan; and Hollywood & Vine you could not pay us to ever go to again. We did it twice--should have stopped after the first time.

We ate at Mama Melrose in September and LOVED IT. Great atmosphere and good food!

Mama's is one of our favorites. I agree 100% with the previous poster on Brown Derby and Hollywood and Vine. yuck. Too much money for food that wasn't good.

You will like Mama Melrose's.

I agree as well.....we love Mama Melrose, it's a must do when were at DHS.
Our second choice would definatley be 50's Prime-time and then Sci-Fi.

Haven't had a bad meal at Mama Melrose. Oddly enough we'd had the same wiatress each time we visit and she's efficient but not chatty. Perfect!

We really enjoyed ourselves!! We tried it for the first time on our last trip, and had nothing but raves reviews from our entire party. Definitely give it a try!

That would be my order too! I LOVED my entire meal at MM and DH liked his well enough. We were last there in Dec. 2007 when the appetizer was included in the dining plan and my appy (breads and spreads, meal (Penne Alla vodka) and dessert (Honey Hazlenut Ricotta cheesecake) were all FABULOUS!

I wanted to add to the band wagon that you should certainly try MM! We had a really nice meal with a nice atmosphere....a little tired of the sci-fi and 50's so glad we gave this a try....we will be back!
