Does anyone know if you can just order of the regular menu with the Fantasmic Package? I have booked this and hope to use my dining plan credits. I know the official word is the plan can't be used with the FP, but several were able to use it anyway. My preferance would be to order off the regular menu, get a better dining time (the latest I could get for the FP was 4:30) and get a ticket for the special entry. How many of you didn't have the FP booked, just ate there off the menu, and were given a ticket anyway? I'm so torn!!

I don't know for sure but you might have a better chance at getting the Fantasmic voucher while still using the Dining Plan if you go before 4:30, since this is the latest they accept priority seating for the Fantasmic Dinner Package.

Last august we did the FP and ate at Mamma Melrose. We were not able to order from the regular menu. I have to tell you, we have seen Fantasmic many times, and honestly these were the worst seats we have ever had. Because you were taken in at a "special" entrance you didnt have to wait in a long line. However, I have gone a half hour before the show and had a better seat than what i had with the package. My vote would be to book dinner order off the menu and wait a half hour in the line without paying a higher price to have a mediocre seat! Either way fantasmic is soooo wonderful!!!

We ate at MM, at 6:30 pm (they often open up later seatings about 30 days out)- Fantasmic Package.

We did order off the Fantasmic dinner menu, and then asked the server, if we could use the dining plan. She said we could have ordered off the regular menu, had she known we were using the dining plan. I just shrugged it off, and stated that I wasn't sure if we could use the plan or not.

For dessert, however, she gave us the regular dessert menu, and we could pick anything- Not just the fantasmic dessert offerings.

Even w/ ordering from the fantasmic menu- One flatbread, a salad, bread and oil for dipping - 2 kids entrees, and 2 adult entrees, 4 desserts- $105 w/ tax, and tip- Not bad for the $90 we paid for the plan for the day.
