How's the food @ Mama's?
We love Fantasmic, but don't enjoy waiting in the line for a seat (who does?). We had a DP @ H&V before and thought it was lackluster. It's disappointing when compared to CM's or CP. We would like to do MM, but it's a little pricey. Is the food worth it? I do consider that part of the price I'm paying is in exchange for not doing the line. We are taking our 1 year old in Dec. also have a 6 year old and an 11 year old.

Does anyone know the menu well enough to offer a suggestion on what's good? I LOVE italian food, my husband isn't crazy about pasta though. Also, what do they have for the kids? We do like TTS at MK. Is it as good as eating there?

Thanks:wave:

We love Mama Melrose's, we have eaten there on two previous trips and are planning to eat there again on the next one. It is a great out of the way quiet place to eat in the parks. I will try and post a link for the menu.....hope it will work. If not maybe some other savvy person can get it for you!! ;)

I just posted a review of MM the other day. We loved it. Out of 6 trips there we only had 1 bad one and that was mainly because they had changed the menu and I wasnt aware and then I was unable to get what I had been craving all day. I did enjoy my flatbread that night, but I was disappointed since it wasnt what I wanted.
We just went last week and loved it again. DH & I had chicken parm which was delicious. The 4 cheese flat bread is great too. Others in our party had the salmon and some sort of chicken dish and they really enjoyed those too.
You can check out the menu on wdwig.com.
Oops, sorry! I didnt see the link above the first time. :D

Another thumbs up for Mama Melrose! The food is fantastic, and the service is always very good!

We also love it. Did it once for Fantasmic pkge and several times for lunch. Great appetizers, pizza and salad. Fun for all ages.

I ate there once for lunch as part of the Backstage Magic tour. It was buffet style and the food was very good. The chocolate mousse however was to die for! It's a shame you can't get take-out for dessert!

The portobello mushroom flatbread with fennel sausage and carmelized onions was absolutely delicious and very filling!

Mmmm, now I can't wait for our trip in January to sample it again!

Ditto the flatbreads, my family of four each had a different one and shared, all were great..
