I just booked a dinner reservation w/o a fantasmic package on Aug 31 at 650 pm. Do you think that I will be able to make the fantasmic show at 830pm??

I'd say yes. Typically you don't linger over a meal in the park as you would when going out to dinner at home. If you were going in mid-July I'd say you would probably only have standing room left for the Fantasmic show with a reservation at 6:50. However, by August 31 Florida schools are back in session, and many families in other states are gearing up for the return to school within a couple days. I'd venture to say you'll be perfectly fine.

Do you think that it will be very busy during the Labor day weekend?

I wouldn't count on being able to make the show. If its very important for you to see Fantasmic, I would re-schedule your dinner reservations. Many things could happen - they may not seat you right away, your food may take a bit longer to come out than expected, etc. They recommend you get there 45 mins before show and I don't think that is possible with your current reservation.

I am surprised they gave you 6:50...usually Fantasmic reservations are latest at 5:30. We were there Labor Day weekend last year, and the day before Labor Day (Sunday) at the Magic Kingdom was a madhouse. I don't know how the Studios were.

I don't think you'll make it. By that time of night the restaurants tend to be running a little behind and then you have to eat and get your bill taken care of. I think you'll be pushing it.

I don't think you will make it. We were there at that time last year. We found it not too crowded because a lot of people were back at school, but Fantasmic was still mobbed. We arrived 1 hour before and were turned away after waiting on line. We did not even make it in. I would count on arriving early if you want to make it.
