...to name a few of the places we ate at this trip. I just wanted to do a real quick review since these boards were so helpful in planning our trip. We just returned yesterday from a week at the Polynesian and had a wonderful time.

Kona Cafe breakfast- awesome as usual! Loved everything. No complaints. Eggs were so yummy, moist and perfectly flavored. My husband had the blueberry pancakes which were great. Kids had the pancakes and Minnie french toast. And we L-O-V-E the press pot coffee. Great way to start the day!
Kona Cafe lunch- really good, my husband had the fish tacos..nothing too exciting but good. I had some chicken sandwich- delicious!
Kona Cafe Sushi Bar- this was OK. Very slow. Verrrrrry slow. My husband had the kids downstairs at Capt Cooks. I ran up to grab some sushi rolls. Ugh. By the time I had them in hand, my husband and kids were walking upstairs to look for me. They were good, the tempura one was much better than the crab one. But expensive!!!! Also, they charged me for a volcano roll instead of a crab roll. I tried to get the guy to fix it, but after 10 min I gave up. $28 for 2 rolls. Should have been $25. Good, but only ate there once.
Kona Cafe dinner- do you sense a theme? We ate here a lot. Dinner was so good, the bread was incredible! I got a strawberry daquiri to drink, it was so weak that I actually asked if it was a virgin daquiri. lol. Dinner was good- coconut chicken was great, my husband had the terriyaki steak and said it was just OK.
Teppan Edo dinner- Loved it here!!! I had read mixed reviews so I was a little worried but it was so good. I had the swordfish- yummmmmmmy. My husband had the steak and shrimp, he said it was great. My kids were able to venture out from the typical kids meals and had the chicken and noodles and the veggies and noodles. Great all around. We enjoyed the little show they put on and the food was really yummy. They brought my husband a piece of the ginger cake for his bday and it was awesome.
Mama Melrose fantasmic dinner package- I was nervous about this. I hadnt read much about MM, and we're in Boston... we have some good italian food. So I was prepared to not be overly impressed. I was wrong. It was great!!! And for the price of the package....soooo worth it. I think it was $35 per adult and included app, entree, and dessert. We loved it here.
Fultons Crab House- Not good. Didnt like it. Overpriced. I posted a seperate review on Fultons.
Starring Rolls in Hollywood Studios- What a hidden gem! We grabbed a quick lunch here and it was so good! We had a turkey and mozzarella sandwich, a couple of muffins and a cookie. Everything was good. The sandwich was delish- fresh mozz in Disney...who knew?!
Yak & Yeti lunch- I was really hoping this would be better than it was. Not that great. Not horrible, but not good. Kind of wish we just went to the Rainforest Cafe. We were seated downstairs by a window, it was loud and there was this annoying fly that would not go away. I just didnt care for it. The honey chicken was flavorless and the texture was like it had been sitting under a warmer for a long time.

So thats it...just wanted to add my 2 cents and hopefully it will help someone else out :)

Thanks for your review! Glad to hear good things about Mama Melrose since we have a lunchtime ADR there next month. Also good to know about Starring Roles. We usually do Sci Fi and Pizza Planet.

Thanks for your reviews. We are going to Kona for breakfast for the first time in September and this is one we are most looking forward to trying. We just cancelled Sci Fi to go back to Mama Melrose which we've not been to since 2008 so I'm glad to see you enjoyed it. Sorry you didn't care for Yak & Yeti; we went in 2007 and loved it and are going back in September.

We love Fulton's and have never had a bad meal, but after your review and talking to my BF here from the DIS who is there now and ate at Fulton's, I've decided to cancel it this go round.

What did you think of the Poly? We are looking at staying there on our next trip. Also, with the Fantasmic package, is that 1 or 2 table credits? Thanks!!

I really liked the Poly. I think its probably best if your mostly doing Magic Kingdom. It can be a bit of a hike to get to the other parks. I would definitely stay here again though, its very relaxing. It was nice to get back after a long day and walk around the resort or go have a nice dinner.

Kona is soooo good! A lot of people love the Tonga Toast, I didnt get it but my mother did one day and it was verrrry sweet.
MM was great- and I was bummed that Yak and Yeti was kind of a let down. :(
