Let me preface by saying that we are not "MM" detractors --- well, we weren't before- it's been a must for us for years, every trip. However--- just finished our dinner, and it just wasn't the same- started off when I noticed that the Calamari was served on a square plate, with a spicy dipping sauce --- I remember it being on a longer tray with a few sauces to choose from - I believe one of them was a pesto. The dipping sauce was ok, but it was the serving size that was the problem . Such a smaller portion

DD and I both ordered the Chicken Parm - been a fave of ours for years - the chicken breast was noticeably smaller, and there was hardly any pasta - honestly, I've seen children's meals with bigger pieces of chicken.

Check came (4 of us) and I was kind of shocked. Really disappointed- And really hungry right now ! :))

This is from September which means it could already be out of date on pricing and portions but here's what we had:

Bread (I want to say came with 3 rolls but it was just the two of us):

I believe this was Chicken Parm:

This was the Mushroom pizza:

We both had a beer but neither of us left hungry at all and we were hungry going in.

I am glad to hear they addressed the oversized portion problem at MM. The amount of food that used to be on the plate was WAY too much for one person. It looks much more reasonable now. Too bad about the sauces, though. I loved that pesto.

That chicken parm looks small but that is a single serving size. Most restaurants serve things that should be at least 2 meals. Since I can’t take it with me at Disney...

Yes, that chicken parm sure looks like a small portion, especially the pasta. There definitely could have been a bit more.

We're looking at going back to MM. any suggestions on the best entree there?

I agree with PP, the portions at that restaurant were unreasonably large, even in comparison to other WDW eateries. We always had to share an entree there as everything was so huge.

I have no issues with smaller normal portions but the prices should be smaller too. Maybe sell half portions.

We had lunch there in October and thought the portions and prices were fair. Can't comment on the evening meals. Portion size seemed fine to us.
