Mama Melrose or Sci Fi?

For dinner on our HS day I've narrowed it down to one of the above two. I'm happy with both menus, and just want to know which everyone prefers and why.

I'd prob say Sci-Fi...It's definitely a fun atmosphere. But you honestly can't go wrong with either one.

While both would have good food, the Sci-Fi is more like a magical ,

My family and I were not impressed with Sci-Fi. The food there is very standard and honestly, it's not even really that great, unless you're dying for a milkshake.

Mama Melrose pizza is very good, Sangria is delicious, and the Tiramisu for dessert is terrific! We typically go there once a year and have never been disappointed.

Sci Fi is a lot of fun, nostalgic-sort-of-way. Great burgers, rubens, chips/spinach dip, onion rings...love the cherry cokes. Service was excellent here, and a great spot to cool off on a hot Florida day.

Mama Melrose is tasty italian, Olive-Garden style (i.e., not gourmet) hazlenut cheesecake & tirimisu are yummy. Calamari for apps delish, too. VERY slow service two out of last three visits. Once the restaurant was very busy, but the other two times it was 1/2 empty so no idea what the slow service was all about. Love the food/hate the service.

I have been to both food at MM was good, the ambiance was nice. Sci Fi was fun, food was alright. We are doing Sci FI for lunch b/c DH hasnt been, loves Sci FI and reuebens..

Sci Fi was nice...I found their food quite tastey and everyone was pleased with our visit there. Never been to MM but we are trying it for our upcoming trip. Obviously we also liked SciFi enough to make a return visit as well

Just depends on what you are looking for. The only reason why we are going to Mama M's is for the Fantasmic Pkg.

We loved the Sci Fi. DD loved sitting in the car to eat, it was the most peaceful meal we had. The food was good too, this was Dec last year.

Like most options at WDW, this depends on your family's likes and dislikes.

At Sci-Fi, the fare is basic by design. It is supposed to be a throwback to '50s(?). Our family loves the atmosphere of the place and i wouldn't miss it for the world. We go there on every visit to WDW.

If you are looking for a more formal sit-down dinner, i would not go with Sci-Fi.

I absolutely can't stand sci fi's food. We will never go back and everyone is really quiet in there even though the commercials they show change so frequently. We had way more fun at mama and the food was 10 times better.

WeSci-Fi!!!!! The atmosphere is fantastic and the burgers, reubens, and ribs are yummy!!!! It's such a unique place - it's a must do for us!!!

I like Sci-Fi for the atmosphere. If you stick to burgers and simple fare, it is a really good meal.

Mama Melrose is OK. It is basically fast Italian. If you are used to authentic Italian food or live in a community with good Italian restaurants, it may not be for you.
