Mama Melrose - How quick?

We've made a Fantasmic dinner reservation for four (DS6, DD 7) at Mama Melrose on Friday April 25 at 5:20 PM. The only reason we are considering eating here is so that we can obtain the special entrance to Fantasmic that night as concerned about line ups as MK closed for Gard night and it being a week-end night. As we will only be able to arrive at MGM at around 3:00 PM that day, we were hoping to make this as quick an "in & out" dinner as possible - likely just skipping dessert. Wondering, however, how long a realistic "quick in and out" time would be. Obviously a lot depends on how busy the restaurant is that particular time and what server we may have, but still would like to get some idea as if it eats up too much of our park time (no pun intended) we may just skip it and opt to wait in Fantasmic line. From what I understand, even with the dinner package we likely have to arrive 45 minutes before so maybe if we arrived an hour before we would be ok (and eat in theater while waiting). Any help would be appreciated.

We had ADR's at 5:00 in September. We were out by 5:45 or 5:50 (we did, however, have a drink, appetizer, entree and dessert).

MY own view is that if all you want to do is see Fantasmic, it's a waste of money to get the Package just to "eat and run" at MM.
