Mama melrose and appetizer?

So i have heard that an appetizer IS included on the dining plan?? Is it only for lunch? I remember the good ole days when the dining plan INCLUDEd an apptizer, ( instead of the "yucky " desserts, we never have room for). Anyway, so the apptizer IS included in table service dining? NOW... which one to get? lol (never ate here, so the entrees are going to be new to us, as well. Is dinner "better" , or probably at least, more "offerings" ? thank you all, AGAIN!

An appetizer IS included either with:

a. the Deluxe dining plan OR

b. With the FANTASMIC Package with the Regular dining plan

Yep. On the regular plan, the only way to get the appetizer is book the Fantasmic package.

...and as for whether or not dinner is "better" than lunch, there is no difference. Mama Melrose has an all day menu!!

Anyone know If the appetizers for two are enforced, if they are can an app for two be made into an app for one? I really want to order the calamari, but anything from the ocean doesn't sit well with DBf

When we were there last year the server had no qualms with counting the appetizers for two as one. DH ordered the calamari while I ordered the antipasta platter.

we have done the FAntasmic dining package many times at Mama Melrose...and every time they have suggested we could get apps-for-2 as individuals. We never have because hubby & I always want the calamari for 2. But Mama Melrose is one place that usually has allowed an individual to order the apps for 2 by themself.

MOST of the Disney restaurants we've been to definitely required apps-for-2 to be using 2 people's appetizer credit.
