Male cat?

I currently have 2 males cats and I have had male cats in the past, mine are indoor only and I have never had a problem with spraying.

Another thing about males cats, now this is just my experience but I have both male a female cats now and have had male and female cats at the same time in the past and my male cats are 100 times more affectionate than the female cats.

We've had a male cat for 10 years. No spraying once. He is the sweetest thing and we all adore him.

I've had several male and female cats thru the years. Ultimately it depends on the cat. I've had a female cat that sprayed and a male cat that sprayed. Neutering fixed the issue for the male cat, but not the female in my situation. For indoor cats, cleaning the litter box twice a day at least can help prevent issues.

I've had male indoor cats my whole live. I currently have 3. One is 16 years old. I have NEVER had one spray because I get them neutered at 6 months.

I love male kitties. They are sweethearts and spraying is not normally an issue after being neutered. That being said, any animal in the house can make a mess and be destructive. Its a trade-off, but I seriously doubt you'll have any issues if you neuter and have clean litter boxes.

All we've ever really had were male cats and my 3 now are indoor cats. They were all neutered at an early age, so they don't spray. The last male we got didn't spray in the first couple of weeks we had him before he was neutered either.

I prefer males, they are much sweeter than female cats, our 3 rule the house. We have 1 female and she is sweet, but not as cuddly as my males. She didn't like me much at first, but DH was goen fro his Reserve training for 2 weeks and she is now my kitty and there are times when I have her and 2 of the males in my lap.

I have had indoor male cats for decades. I prefer males. Haven't had any problems. Only problem I ever had with a cat that needed to be outside was a female stray. I took her to my girlfriend's parents farm and she clappy as a ham there.

:confused3
Never heard it said that way. I thought it was "happy as a clam".

I have a male. Didn't realize it till we got him fix because his butt was so fuzzy. But no issues what-so ever besides the bad habits my boyfriend lets him get away with. He thought it was so adorable as a tiny kitten to let him play with his feet. Now that he's nearly a year old, it's not so cute anymore. The cat doesn't do it to me because I never allowed it.

My cat Ninja is just over 2 years old. I found him as an absolutely pathetic abandoned wee soul at about 6-7 weeks old. Due to the very lengthy recovery he needed we kept him as an indoor cat and he wasn't neutered until he was 10 months old and we have had no issues at all with spraying, pooping or peeing in the house other than his kitty litter. As you can see from this photo he is far too gentlemanly to be doing his business anywhere other than his toilet box!!! :rotfl:
