Making WDW Golf Tee Times

Anyone need info/have tips on golf reservations....

This was our experience for today: Called this afternoon (90 days to the date) to make a tee time for November 11th. Based on several things I've read, golf reservations can be made 90 days out.

Now, we were trying to make reservations for the "Price Slice" timeframe, which according to several websites, was 3:00 pm or later (may vary due to the time of year).

Upon calling (407) 938-GOLF, we were told that reservations for the "Price Slice" can only be made 30 days out, and the time starts after 10:00 am. I should have had DH ask more questions whuile he was on the phone, since I have not heard/read this information anywhere - and we've been researching.

Has anyone had a smiliar experience or know more about the reservations for a tee time? Basically, DH and friend want to golf after the price break (can mean the difference from $170 to $50 from what I read). We are resort guests, so this did not appear to make a difference.

Any advice from seasoned WDW golfers???

Depending on the discount you are after, it does make a difference when you can call. 30 days out is the norm for price break; 90 days out if you want regular price; 14 days out if you want AP rates. They do this so the higher price tee times go first. However, that does mean you may not be able to get the tee time you want for price break or AP rates. It will depend on how/when folks made reservations at the 90 day mark.

Does this help? I realize it's not the answer you want. I use the AP rates and sometimes need to take a tee time that's available rather then one that I wanted (e.g., 10 am vs. 8 am).
