Making the most out of an evening - first visit

My 10 year old and I are going at the end of April. We will have 3 day park-to-park tickets. We are there for a tournament, so have odd times free until that is over. We are planning to go on a Sunday night from 6-9pm. Not long, I know. But, what would you hit during this time?

We'll be back for a full day the next Tuesday and until 2pm or so on Wednesday. I will also be able to go earlier on Sunday, so will at least have walked around and done a few things with a friend.

Would you hit one of the Harry Potter areas or save that until we have longer or should we hit a few of the other rides instead?

i'm looking at the park calendar hours.
sunday the 26th has studios open to 9 and ioa closed at 7

so if you will be in the park at 6, just stay with the studios for that evening.

the following tue and wed ioa closes at 7 with the studios closing at 6 and 8.
if you go early, you'll get a lot down.

if you have park to park tickets, you can work it and do both parks on your dates.

it's always great when you are in the parks and don't face long line waits.
go in a low period and less stress for a fun time at the darkside.
i'm sure you had a fab time.

the op is going when grad bash is on and the parks close early.
some weekends bring in more local crowds if the weather is perfect.
