I had a brainstorm today (which usually gets me in trouble!)

We have 13 nieces and nephews. While we like to buy them all something when we are on vacation (and sometimes we have), it gets expensive!

So I thought about going to Goofy's Candy Shoppe and buying bags of Goofy mix for each of them. Then today looking through the Creative DISigners thread I got the idea of making a personalized magnet for each of them to give with the candy bag. I could print these on the sheets of magnet paper.

Do you think these magnets would look cheap or chintzy? I know that nobody in my family would mind.

I thought that I would put this idea out to all of you really creative people. Are there any other items I could make (inexpensively) with personalized designs other than the magnets? Or is there a way to make a more study magnet?

You could make plastic magnets with Shrinky Dinks! I am experimenting with the Shrinky Dinks sheets for computer injet printers. Just get a design and print in on the sheet and then shrink it in your regular oven or toaster oven. You could even do photos! Or you could punch a hole in it before you bake it and make key chains or necklaces out of them. Just make sure you make the hole large enough, because it will shrink too. I got a pack of 10 6x10" sheets at Mikes. It's about $9.99 a pack but I had a 40% coupon.

Or you could make mobile charms or pins out of shrinkies or even Fimo (se Disney Dorks designs for some amazing stuff with Fimo!)
