Making sorbet with Splenda?

Has anyone done this before? I have not used splenda in cooking before, but with summer upon us I know I will want to use all the yummy fruits to make sorbet. Trouble is, sorbet calls for a lot of sugar. I have thought about using splenda. Any thoughts?

We seem to be splenda crazy around here. It didn't do well in my peanut butter cookies, but works great in drink and smoothie mixes, etc. My favorite snack is Bryers Carb Solutions Ice Cream made with splenda - you'll love it!!
