Making shirts

I've seen so many beautiful Disney T-shirts on the board. My family and I are going back to WDW in December and I would love to be able to have unique personalized T-shirts to wear.

Can someone help guide me as to:

1) Where to start
2) How to get the actual image from someone's box
3) How to personalize it
4) Etc...Etc...

I'm really not slow, but with sooo much info coming from sooo many different posts, it gets confusing. Any and all help will be appreciated. Feel free to PM me if it would be better.

You should start by reading (or at least browsing) 2 of the sticky threads at the top of the forum.

Meet the DISigners will tell you which DISigners are active and which are not and will provide some idea of the types of DISigns for each.

The How To sticky provides lots of tips and tells how to ask for a DISign.

Then I suggest you explore. Since each thread tells how many posts there are, look for some of those with lots of posts and look around a little. Visit some of the Photobucket and 4shared accounts that DISigners have set up.

If you don't find what you need (and there are so many DISigns that it could take months to explore) post all the DETAILS on your own thread. Be specific....names, colors, dates, characters, etc. DISigners don't want to change after the fact 'cause request was vague.

If you do see something from a DISigner you want for yourself, post request in their request thread AFTER READING THEIR RULES....usually in post #1

I, for example, hate PMs and will not use unless absolutely necessary....I always read the ones from fellow DISigners but not much else.

Most active DISigners will do the personalizing for you. There is also a good thread on doing yourself if you have Word and the DISign you pick is a blank (no existing personalization)

1. Await responses

2. Download images (right click and save if full size displayed on forum...zoom in Photobucket or other sharing site to full size if displayed as small thumbnail on forum and then download)

3. Print on iron on transfers (if for shirts)

4. Iron

5. Take Pics of your finished projects and post....we love that!

6. Wear on your fantastic vacation !! (or use if not shirts)

It really is fairly easy!!
