Making room reservations...problems

Ok... I just found out that if our guest book rooms through our room block they can not get the dining plan and only purchase tickets at a discount. Most of my family want to book the yourway package with Dining. In order to do that they have to book through Disney Travel and not group reservations and also not get the room discount. Is anyone else having this problem and what did you do? ALso, does anyone know if you have an anual pass, can you get the dining plan booking with Disney Travel Co? I need advise as I told everyone they can add the dining plan if they get a Magic yourway package, I though this could be done when booking our room block but I was wrong.

I think to get the package you have to include park tickets- maybe you could buy the no expiration???

Don't worry, not a big deal! You just have to get the confirmation numbers and have them applied to your room block. That way everyone gets what they need! If they book through the travel co they will not get the discounted room or tickets. It really is a trade off there. I think they have to figure out which way is better.

when my guests booked they were unable to add the dining plan & get the wedding discounts (room & tickets), its either one or the other. if your guests want the dining plan especially if youre getting married in september when they have that free dining plan offer just ask your guests to give you their reservation number as long as you have that & email it to your em there nights count for your room minimums.

as for the annual pass no you are not able to purchase the dining plan the dining plan is only available with the magic your way packages. but you can buy the dde (disney dining experience) card for $50 & get 20% off most restaurants at disney. me & my hubby did that for our trip, it saved us a bundle between our planning trip & wedding.

My wedding was last year during this same promotion--the free dining with the magic your way plan. It was a better deal than the wedding discounts. If the wedding tickets are better than the ones in the magic your way plan, just have your guests buy a one day ticket. It really helped a few of my guests decide to come and they saved about $400! Just have them give you the confirmation number and give it to your planner.
