Hey guys -

My 180 mark is coming up soon, and I need some advice. I didn't know until today that the online system opens up an hour before the phones. So I had a couple questions.

First, will the online system allow me to do the 180+10?? or just the 180. I'd hate to lose that first hour if it will let me make all the reservations online instead of waiting to call.

Second, we're a party of 6, and I want to reserve:

Cape May Cafe. Dinner
Teppan Edo. dinner
Crystal Palace. Breakfast before opening
Tonys Town Squate. Dinner
Tusker House. Breakfast before opening.

Do you think I need to worry about any of these selling out if I don't book first thing on the a.m.?

We're going in the 3rd week of October.

Thanks!
Deb

The online system should let you take advantage of the +10 for staying on property. You will need to log into the site, and then when you pick a date greater than 180 days away, there will be a link to associate your resort reservation with the dining system.

Crystal Palace and Tusker House would be the ones that would sell out quick, since they are both quite popular and your time slot is more limited. (And lots of people vie for those few pre-opening seatings). Whether or not they'd sell out first thing, I don't know. I do know that I picked up a Crystal Palace for 8:05am for 2 a few days after my 180 mark (but it was still over 180 days out... I'd guess around 185ish). Didn't try for Tusker though since we are going there later in the morning.

I do not think any of the places you mentioned will sell out in first hour on the 180 day mark. I made reservations during one of the busiest weeks 4/16-4/23 at the 150 day mark and got Cape May and Teppan Edo for groups of 10 and got the days and meal I wanted. So if you reserve at the 180 day mark you should be fine.

Why chance it?

I got up each morning (at 2:35am PST) so I could get all my ADR's done. I'm staying 15 nights so I got up a few days in a row.

I got everything I wanted. I didn't get the exact times I wanted for the first day ADR. Everything else was very close.

the online system will let you do 180+10 :)

tusker house is the most popular of the ADRs you have, i believe -- i would book that first!

one additional tip - don't use GOOGLE CHROME (if that is one of your browsers) to book your ADRs! i had issues with the system -- i kept getting errors when i tried to book at 6am sharp. once i switched to FIREFOX, everything went smoothly

Can someone tell me about the +10?

If you are staying at a Disney resort you can book your ADR's at 180 days from your check in date. You then are allowed to book an additional +10 days for your stay (so 11 total, including your check in date). Make sure you attach your resort reservation to get the extra 10 days (you may not need all 10).

Since I go for longer than 11 days (14 nights, this year it's 15) I have to go online a few more days to get all of my ADR's. Sure is nice not having to get up for more than 11 days in a row at 2:35am (my computer is slow).

I would think it's between TH and CP. I'd go with the one that's closest to the beginning of your trip.
