Making Ressies for Our Entire Group...

Headed to WDW with my family of four & my sister's family of four. Two separate DVC room ressies. One I sign into my account on WDW site (which shows my reservation only), will I still be able to make dining reservations for a party of 8?

Yes, you will be able to make reservations for a party of 8. You only need to input your res number to take advantage of the 180 + 10 days to make the reservations. Once you've done that you can make reservations for as many people as you wish.

I don't know if it's been fixed, but there have been some people who said their DVC reservation number wasn't been recognized when making online dining ADRs so they've had to call to take advantage of the +10. Hopefully a DVCer will be along to let you know if it's all good now.

Your resort/DVC reservation does not carry over any requirements as far as the number of people on the dining reservations. So, even with 4 confirmed in your room/unit, you may make reservations for however many you need .

Do note that if your family and your sister's family are splitting up for meals and eating at the same time in different locations, either she's going to have to make her own while you make your own, or you're going to have to call. It will not allow you to book 2 different ADRs within a certain timeframe of each other, even if you put totally different information on the ADR (it's all tied into your login/session on the site). You MAY be able to sign in under a different account and make them (I'm pretty sure this would work, but I'm not sure if this is actually controlled by login only or if your web session comes into play as well)

Good news the issue for DVC members making ressies at 180 + 10 is now fixed and worked fine for me this morning. In addition I was able to make ressies for our full party of 12 even though only 4 are in my room
