I have a few questions about making the PS reservations? I know you have to call 90 days before, but does this hold true if it falls on a weekend? How difficult is it to get Character dinner? I want to make PS for Dec. 23rd, I think I need to call Sept. 25th, does anyone know if this is right?

I appreciate any help this is going to be a birthday dinner for my 10yr old daughter.

Use the priority seating calculator to figure out what day you need to call. If you are staying on property, you can book all reservations as soon as you hit the 90 day window of the first day you're there. However, if you are trying to book Cinderella's Royal Table you would be better off calling exactly 90 days before. There are a ton of threads on strategies for booking CRT!!!

Some people are reporting being able to book 100 days in advance now. So I would definitely give it a shot!

Good luck and let me if you have any other questions on PS or ADRs (advance dining reservations).

General PS rule of thumb
You dont need a PS unless:
Visiting during a holiday when children are on vacation.
You want to dine at a character meal or one of the more popular restaurants (Le Cellier, 50s PT, Sci Fi, WC, Ohana, CG)
Any meal for Cindy's
You have a large party.

I had trouble getting Konas for a Friday night dinner this month. But walked in on a Thursday at GF and could have gone to Breakfast anywhere.

As 100AcreWood stated, some folks did post about being able to book ADR's at 100 days out. However, there have also been multiple posts that this was an error by Dining CM's learning a new system, and further there have been posts stating that DIS'ers were told these 100 day out ADR's were being cancelled, so Beware.
The new policy is 90 + 10, meaning at the 90th day before your check-in, you can call and book all of your ADR's for up to the next 10 days. They will ask for your confirmation # and confirm that you are staying on-site. They release a number of tables for the 90 + 10 program, but not all. If you are not able to get an ADR that you want, you can call back at the exact 90 day window when they will release additional tables.
I took a calendar and just counted back 90 days to determine when to call.
Hope this helps.

Can you make all your priority seating reservations on one day or is there a limit each day? Making PS arrangements is all new to me. We have always used counter service dining before. I'm really looking forward to this experience this time in Disney! :cloud9:
