This is my first time using ADR and I have a couple of questions-

So we have decided to go for NYE- I know its going to be crazy, so my plan is to book quite a few sit down places so we have a place to get off our feet have something to eat and relax.

Also I will be meeting some people who are not on my reservation- is it possible to make reservations for more than the amount of people in your party?

Also if the person I am going with wants to make reservations on their own, can we make them at the same time? For example - I am at Epcot and want to eat with 2 (me and someone not on my reservation) at Via Napoli- and the other person on my MDE wants to eat at Magic Kingdom at the plaza with someone not in our party at the same time? I guess my question is can you have double reservations for the same time at different locations with different people? Its OK if we have to break them up - i just dont want disney to cancel them if I did something wrong. Hope this makes sense!

Thanks!

Yes, you can make an ADR for more than you have on your resort reservation. We do this when our Orlando friends are eating with us. (There is an option of listing all the attendees by name as a planning tool on MDE but I skip that part as I'm usually in a hurry to secure all my ADRs.).

Two different MDE holders are free to make ADRs as they see fit. If you are the only one with an MDE, you can't make conflicting reservations for your party, so someone else will have to get their own MDE if you are trying to split your group for a meal.
