making reservations

Hey DVC members,

I have a question regarding making a reservation through member services.
When we go to disney, we stay from saturday - saturday. Will I be able to do this?
We will stay at OKW. We have 150 points at OKW and 100 points at BC. The points come to us in February from OKW and BC. I would appreciate any information regarding this topic. I would like to be informed before I try to call.

DVC reservations can be for any number of days you wish, so Sat. - Sat. is fine.
If you are staying at OKW you can use your OKW points for any reservation that is 11 months or less from the date you call. If you want to use your BCV points to stay at OKW, the reservation you want must be 7 months or less from the date you call.

just to repeat because it's such a common misunderstanding:

as stated above, you can book OKW at 11 months with OKW pts - if you want a reservation for june 2010, you could call as early as july 2009. you don't have to wait till your 2010 pts come in february. your 2010 pts (and 2011 and 2012) are already in your account.
