Making reservations with the DC card

I just signed up for the DC Card today. I asked for my card number and they told me they would e:mail it to me within 24-48 hours. Can I call the 800 and book my resort without having my number? Is there any way they can look to verify or do I have to wait until they e:mail me my number?

Hi sncbird!

You will have to have the number. The Cast Members at the Travel Company will not even quote you a price for the discount without first having that number. I'm surprised the Disney Club wouldn't give you the number over the phone. I guess they have changed quite a bit in the last three months.
